Flimsy base doesn't hold.
The flange at the base, where it meets the can is very flimsy. If you try to bend the spout while connected to the can (i.e., trying to pour gas), the flange bends and the spout falls into the can.

This is exactly what was furnished on the old cans, so be prepared to replace the same parts that failed originally. It would have been nice if the vent cap was designed a little stronger so the top doesn’t eventually separate from the threaded part, but if you are gentle with it, it could be okRead full review

Very poor quality. Had to modify it to be able to get the cap to fit. Still better than the ones that were intended to avoid gas from spilling.
