Good deal, can be tricky to set up but customer service is good.
I've always had good luck with RedPocket for my family but this time I decided to switch to it for myself and so far so good. Just one problem: ever since the day I activated the service I have been averaging 1 to 2 telemarketing calls a day! Coincidence? I don''t know but before that I was getting maybe 2 or 3 a month.Read full review

Good value, Hard to keep track of usage
I bought this RedPocket cell phone plan for $60/year. It's been 2 weeks and I have no problem with the signal (calls, data/Internet, texts). HOWEVER, it's not easy to keep track of your usage since the website is not updated. ANOTHER problem is, my phone shows that I have a voicemail although when I check, it says there're no messages. If they can come up with an App that would keep a better track of the usage that would be great!Read full review
Excellent value
Excellent value. I'm a light data user so it suits my needs. Had a bit of a problem setting up but both the redpocketstore and online chat people were very helpful. The one thing that's lacking, and why I gave4 rather than 5 stars, is there is now way to track usage in real time. An app would be nice.Read full review
Outstanding!
This is a great deal. You get 12 months of service that automatically renews each month. I've been a Red Pocket customer for a while and was thinking of switching, simply because I don't use much data or minutes and wanted something cheaper. It seems like those of us who use our phones very little have to subsidize those who use them for everything. But this deal kept me as a happy customer. Red Pocket voice and data service is every bit as good as Verizon since they use the same towers, only it's less expensive.Read full review

Can't be Beat! Happy Customer!
I got this deal for $159.99 for a whole year! Works as well as Page Plus which I ported over on the same phone and number in less than 3 hours. Email customer service sometimes answer or not. I have better luck at Red Pocket site in chat or calling. But once it gets going, it's great! I put it on iphone 4s; can't wait till I get it on 4G lte on a 4G phone! Buy it!
I bought one for the second year for $150 near black friday, a better deal! I didn't look out for my email code, but Customer Service found it and activate it in a few minutes and renewed for second year. Satisfied customer! Highly recommend!!
2 years later: Tried to connect to iphone 5S on a Tmobile unlocked phone and it didn't work on CDMA. GSMA worked but no data or mms. I tried on Unlocked iphone 6S Plus on CDMA and it didn't work. They say not CDMA capable, but all unlocked iphone 6S are CDMA compatible, even Verizon network approves. They say I have to put on GSMA.. Will try when I renew next month with new sim cards they send. Hopefully it works! I'm tired of the iphone 4S!
I couldn't get the old sim to connect to to iphone 6S 3 times. They said phone not CDMA, but their system said it was. I bought a 3rd year and the new sim connected! I It didn't get mms after they told me to shut off roaming and enable LTE. I discovered I had to "reset network setting". It works!!!!! I'm on Verizon now!Read full review

Awesome Price for the same national carriers.
Red Pocket service has been great. You get 3 SIM cards that work on all the major carriers, you just choose the Carrier you want service from and activate. You will need the PIN number that is e-mailed to you after they ship the cards to activate the 1-year of service. I loved the service so much i bought a 2nd one.Read full review

This saves SO much money vs monthly cell phone plans.
I recommend that if you have any skepticism in trying this that you try the monthly plan 1st and THEN buy the yearly plan when the monthly runs out, just to be sure you're happy with your coverage and service. I have the same level of service as the big name, yet pay so little. I love the fact that they offer cell phone service on ALL 4 networks, should I decide to change networks. As far as I know, they are the only provider/reseller that does so. Just know that this card works for only 1 provider, not all 4. If you think you might change from one to the other, this is locked in for a year with just one. Do your research before you buy or you can call, message or chat with Red Pocket to be sure you are picking the right yearly plan. Also, they can tell you if your phone will work with that plan, so you don't buy something you can't use on your phone.
I've read reviews that people rate the customer service poorly but if you chat with them vs calling it's so much better and quicker. And seriously, for the amount of money you are saving, how can you complain about this??? I recommend that you chat with them on their website rather than call. You will save so much time and it will be clear what their instructions to you are.
I have my own experiences with customer service. Because of the old company I was with (Page Plus who is owned by Tracfone) I was bounced around like a beach ball trying to port my phone number and each side was telling me it was the other's fault. I had to be in touch with each side at least 5 times. I figured (and was right) that it was Page Plus that was jerking me around. I had NO issues with what Red Pocket told me, they were correct.
Since switching, I've had no issues with coverage, texts or calls not getting through the first time (as a cheaper pre-paid plan, the name brand carrier considers you a "lower priority" customer than theirs and can make your calls and texts not go through the 1st, 2nd, 3rd time etc if their cell tower is a little "busy") My data is consistent with 4G most of the time and can drop to 3G if the tower I'm traveling around only supports 3G. That would be the same no matter who's plan I am with.
The real test of time will show when a year rolls around. If I re-up with Red Pocket in a year that is the best rating for them of all. I was with Page Plus for years and years and was happy, until TracFone bought them and they became a 1-star rating in my book. By the way, TracFone owns many, many of the pre-paid companies now.Read full review

after 500MB high speed data
If you use less than 500MB data, everything is fine. Once beyond 500MB, it throttled to low speed, which is not even 3G, I think it's 2G data speed. I used website speed test and it shows download/upload speed is only 0.1MB/s.Read full review

Good price but lower data
Defiantly good price, switched from my AT&T 45$monthly to this one. Although it claimed that the data speed will remain the same, but it's not. It took me a long time to figure out how to active this card hahaRead full review
