I bought these to add a bit of glitz and glamour for my female singer's Shure SM 58, and I am not disappointed. It was easy to unscrew the original screen, and thread the new one right in its place. People have said that the screen itself, along with the foam insert, changes the quality of the Shure sound. So far, I can't tell the difference in live performance. This screen is brighter then others I have purchased online due to it's yellow sponge material inside most are black.
