I melted the chocolate in the microwave,had no problem pouring in tray after preheating machine,instructions were easy to follow.r>Amazing value,for small party,kids loved it! Important to follow instructions safely and supervision needed for kids as tray gets hot.Cleaning most of it after use was ok as parts are plastic,actual fixed machine tray was more difficult as choc set,it was good value and worth it for occasional use.
