Excellent but....

Many fellow heads have agreed that this show is one of the best, if not the best, of the European tor of 1972. I would say it is in the top five or seven for sure. The first set is very good with many exceptional versions of the classics. It is extremely long, maybe the longest first set of the tour and features superb performances by Pig Pen.

The Dew to the open the second set is good but suffers from multiple vocal miscues from Jerry. The meat of the second set is a very good Dark Star, but the not the best in my opinion, into ones of the better versions of Caution from this tour. The end of the set is also unique and quite good.

I would highly recommend the show from one week later from Muenchen, West German for a great Dark Star Morning Dew that smokes both version from the Rotterdam show.Read full review
