Squealing problem is easily fixable.

Caused by plugging in AC adaptor in pc plug instead of DC input. They are next to each other and easy to plug in wrong input. Solution: Pull batteries out of unit. Unplug AC adapter and let unit sit for about 20 minutes. Reinstall batteries, reprogram and plug in ac adapter in CORRECT input. Problem should be cleared. Cheaply made.

Arrived in good shape. When I removed it from the box and went to extend the antenna, the antenna popped out. I heard a broken piece inside the unit.It was a small piece of broken plastic that wasn't strong enough to hold a large steel antenna. I threw it in the trash. Very disappointed.Read full review
