Wakefield Hospice
Wakefield Hospice is a purpose-built specialist palliative care unit that opened in April 1990 providing 8 single ensuite bedrooms and 2 four bed ward areas, a Day Therapy Unit, bereavement support and education.

Over the years the Day Care Unit developed initially into a Day Therapy Unit and ultimately into a Drop-In Centre providing therapies, information and care for patients, carers and bereaved families.

Wakefield Hospice has been providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care for over 30 years.

Based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, the charity supports both patients living with a life-limiting illness, and their families, offering a range of services including day therapy, dementia care, wellbeing, and bereavement support.

Further information:
As a charity, we must raise over £ 4 million each year to continue providing our vital services.

Every item sold through our eBay store contributes towards the running of Wakefield Hospice, ensuring we can continue to be here for patients and their families when they need us, both now and in the future.
