  I ordered 4 plates. Two of them don’t allow the thermostat to sit flush. Contacted the seller. He was great and sent me 2 new plates. Only one of them allows the thermostat to sit flush. The issue is that these plates aren’t the original ones made by Nest. They’re aftermarket. They look similar but size of the hole in the back of the plate is different depending on which one you happen to get.
