Weldmar Hospicecare
Weldmar Hospicecare is an independent charity providing specialist end of life care for people living in Dorset. Our compassionate approach supports patients and their families in the community, at home, and in our hospice. All services are free of charge. We have a dedicated team of nurses, doctors, therapists, social workers, and counsellors, but only 21% of our funds are provided by the NHS - we must raise 18,000 pounds a day with the support of the local community to continue our services.

About us

Thank you for shopping with Weldmar Hospicecare. We are an independent charity in Dorset, providing specialist end of life care to people with a life limiting illness, and we support their loved ones. Our care takes place in the comfort of patients' own homes, in the community, and at our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester. Our team includes doctors, nurses, care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, bereavement counsellors, creative arts therapists, complementary therapists, specialist chefs, and more. We need to raise £18,000 a day to keep our services going, and shopping at our chain of charity shops and outlets across Dorset, and on this online shop, goes a long way towards helping us achieve that target.
