Austin-based bookseller Sheri Tornatore has been selling online since 2004 and has 35 years' experience in the collectible book business. In 2011, she opened South Congress Books on South Congress Avenue in Austin and moved the shop to central Austin on Kerbey Lane in 2023. The open shop closed in January 2025. Most important, we prioritize accuracy and attention to detail in our listings and take care with our shipments so that your purchases arrive promptly and safely.

    The book is as described. I am pleased. A signature on the title page is uncommon for this author. What I often see is signed book plates. I am really happy with the way it was wrapped. It was book smart to apply an oversized board under the book to protect the corners and the body of the book and then bubble wrap it. The container it was sent in also had a bubble lining. My sense is this seller is concerned with completing the sale not at the point of purchase but at the buyer’s home. K
