About us

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across west London and Surrey. We’re here to make every moment count, whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months, or years. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical care. Our specialist care and support is free of charge and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We support around 500 babies, children, or young adults who have a life-limiting condition and their families, as well as around 200 bereaved families. It costs £10 million a year to run Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our services going.

However, there was a sticky residue all over the focus ring which took a couple of hours to clean off - this should have been included in the description. The item arrived after the estimated delivery time and the tracking number supplied did not work. The only communication I received was to say that the item was being dispatched 5 days after making payment. Packaging was good and a fair price.

The items were extremely well wrapped for shipping, thoroughly protected with multiple layers of bubble-wrap, parcel tape and eBay plastic packaging wrap.
