Hello, Lunch Lovers! This is Esme Hecht. Many of you know me as the original creator and founder of Lunch at The Ritz.
In 1973 I hitchhiked from New York to Berkeley, CA where I got a job in a jewelry factory. I later sold my creations as a street artist in Berkeley and San Francisco. In 1982 I moved to New York and created Lunch at The Ritz. My designs sold internationally to department stores, exclusive boutiques and art galleries everywhere. My customers included Cher, Diana Ross, Shirley MacLaine, Dolly Parton, Janet Jackson, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton and more.
In 2013 I left Lunch at The Ritz to pursue my own dreams. I have an enormous collection of my own brand new and never worn Lunch at The Ritz Couture and Lunch at The Ritz 2GO USA jewelry. This jewelry is more like a family album to me. They carry a lot of memories and it breaks my heart to sell it. I hope it brings you as much pleasure as I had designing it.
