Even with all the time that extra care took -- the package arrived very fast. The seller must have already had the item packaged before it sold.   The radio arrived very well packed. It took some little time to extract the radio. Sadly, the faceplate got cracked in shipping, but it was not the fault of the packaging. I bought the Transoceanic for a parts box, but after connecting a battery I found that it works well and now I have to fix it. It also came with many parts that were not shown in the photos so restoration is possible without needing to scrounge parts. I am VERY happy with the transaction and recommend the seller.
