The anvil was very well packed for its journey across the Atlantic. It was shipped in a heavy plastic mailer. Inside, it was wrapped in bubble-wrap and rolled up in a sheet of corrugated cardboard providing three layers of protective cushioning for the contents. It arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely purchase from this seller in the future.
