    Great Knife!

    I've always loved CRKT knives, especially the Kit Carson design models. I bought the M16-14SF model as a brother to my M21-14SFG. They are similar differing the G10 grip, blade shape and serration-type. Which do I like more...can't say because they are both great! I think CRKT knives are top of the line when you are talking about Asian-made knives and really keep up well with US-made knives too.

    Good, but screw comes loose.

    Good knife for sure, but screw comes loose constantly since the day I got it. Will cause knife to not close. Future reference I would lock-tight the screw on the blade.

    Excellent Quality, Combat Proven

    I originally purchased the CRKT M16-14ZSF (Desert colored Zytel frame with "OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM CERTIFIED" etched on the blade) from the Bagram PX in Afghanistan during OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM. I carried this knife for my entire tour in A-Stan and then again during my tour in Baghdad Iraq (04-05) Without a doubt the best made knife I have ever carried and during my 24 years as a paratrooper I carried quite a few. Excellent quality, solid construction, durable, doesn't rust and the "flippers" make opening and closing very quick and easy. Unfortunately I lost the knife several months ago while playing with my 3 year old in the park on base. I looked around for months and honestly could not find a knife that appealed to me or seemed to be of the same quality for the price. So I pulled the trigger and purchased the M16-14SF (Black) and couldn't be happier. I never go anywhere without a knife and the past few months without my CRKT I felt naked. Excellent product at a reasonable price. The ONLY folder I will ever carry is the CRKT M16-SF. Highly Recommend. AIRBORNE!!!
