The HXR-NX5E records in stunning quality with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 24 Mbps (50i or 25p) and supports 720/50p and standard definition recording. sony 's G lens and Exmor™ technology enable outstanding resolution, color and contrast ratio as well as high light sensitivity in dimly lit environments. AVCHD recordings can be stored on inexpensive, readily available cards, increasing user flexibility. With two 32GB memory cards, the HXR-NX5 can record six hours of HD material, which can be extended by replacing the memory cards. The optional 128 GB flash module (HXR-FMU128) offers a maximum recording time of eleven hours in HD at 24 Mb/s and, in combination with the memory.
