Camera worked well. The manual takes a long time to read, and has to be referred to often at first. I use this to record indoor meetings that are published on my page, Veterans News Today. It is funny how our officials act 100% different when they see they are being recorded! Great Obsolete Camera
If you need a professional, standard definition, mini-dv camcorder then there is probably none better than this one. But you need to remember that this is an standard definition, mini dv camcorder. For most modern video production environments this really isn't going to cut it because it's not HD. Which is to say that it's a bad camera, it's just obsolete for most things that you would want to use it for these days.
