not obsolete yet, still great product
I got this because Avid pulled Sierra support for my 002 console, and it looks like they don't plan to rethink that, judging from the number of driver updates that specifically distance themselves from it. Let us pray for legislation. Not sure how long this one will remain compatible, but so far so good. And certainly can't beat this price.

Sounds amazing! Be sure and get the right driver.
All AVID products are very clean sounding, including this one. Excited to try the ADAT function. FYI - Avid website has two different locations for windows drivers - one says 'Windows' with no specification as to which one. Do not use this one - crashed my tower. Find the newer one in Legacy Drivers folder that is specific to Windows 10. Worked immediately. Good luck!

I bought a 003 rack for my pro tools studio and its the best thing i did .. this harware from digidesign is the best . it comes with great filters for a awsome sound , not to mention all the in and out connections were you can set it in any combination you like ....I recomend it ..
