Easiest Machine ever, except it is broken after 30 days.
2 Minute set up. Drop in the ( my Bobbin was prewound ) Bobbin, run the Thread through a couple of Slots .... Select a Stitch .....done, all the settings are automatic. You can also set your own but so far I'm asking myself why you would want to. Maybe to change the Stitch Length and or Width. Embroidery function is easy to selected and use however it works best on stiffer Fabric. If the Machine jams it's easy to crear up. ( so far ) I have only had it for 3 days .... So far i really like this Machine. The Thread has not broken once. It feeds Fabric really well ( Slippery & Stretchy ) with or without Elastic I have 2 issues with the design, 1 on all my other Machines the lever that lifts the Foot is in the back. Very nice when you are holding something straight or with Elastic. Just flip it with a Finger. On this Machine it's in a different place. ( in the middle of the Machine ) not a big deal but it took some getting used to. Andi can't change the size of the Embroidery. 1/4" is a little bit small. But it's a DC Machine so it's Quieter and Smoother than an older Machine. Only Time will tell if it's as dependable as an older Machine. It has a lot more things that could go wrong It's 100% Electronically controlled. If it breaks you could take it to a Computer repair establishment. So far i highly recommend the 8770. Curvy 8770 computerized sewing machine
First of all,I'm only talking about 1 of the 2 machines I purchased. It is a really easy machine to use! The threading and the auto needle threader are as simple as you could get! There's no way you could mess up! its a very nice looking machine and sews well. The other one,I have to return! The little ring that holds the thread on the needle bar is broken! The thread keeps coming out and causes all kinds of problems! I had to take the plate off to get the threads out and it was almost impossible to get it back on! Took me 2 days to get it on! Doesn't sew right! Don't like the idea of sending it back ,but I need to. Didn't mention these are remanufactured! Mostly, that's the kind I always buy and I'm always satisfied! easy to use for simple sewing repairs and leaning curve on the features , good quality, the automatic needle theader only worked a couple times. It is not hard to thead it manually. Nice little machine for the money.
Needing a machine in a hurry, we just went on line instead of doing physical shopping. Found this machine for a great price although it doesn't have the warranty a more expensive machine does.
