The Xerox ColorQube printer is an all-in-one laser printer that prints out several types of media at a fast rate. This Xerox laser printer gives the user the ability to print up to 40 pages per minute both in color and in black and white. The Xerox ColorQube printer has two trays for different types of sheets. The first tray holds 100 sheets and is multipurpose, while the second tray holds 525 sheets but it is simply an input tray. In addition to its substantial paper holding ability, this Xerox laser printer has a 512 MB RAM and a 1 GHz processor running through it. In addition to paper, this Xerox laser printer can also handle cards, coated paper, photo paper, and several other types of paper. With the ability to increase its RAM and a media capacity that maxes out at 2,200 sheets, this laser printer is ideal for those that want to print things out in a large volume. The Best High Volume Color Printer
For a printing workhorse, the ColorQube can't be beat for small businesses. Color output is excellent, with a slightly glossy sheen on the final prints. 4 different color modes available, Photo, Enhanced, Standard, and Fast Color. This thing will pump out the copies fast! It's not a "photo" printer, but photos look very good if you use images on your fliers and brochures. The 8700 is a heavy duty machine, and takes the less expensive ink blocks than the 8500 models. Basically, truth be told, they are the same machine, but the ink formula is actually a little different. This is a serious printer, and needs a good volume of printing for best health. Like a good gym workout, keeping this machine healthy is a good steady stream of projects printed with it. There's a "sleep" feature when you're not using it to save on power. Don't turn this machine off, but keep the melted wax ink in a liquid state. Turning it off, you'll be wasting ink when it powers up and clears the nozzles of stale ink. If you want to save money and time, this printer will be much cheaper than Kinkos, and the output will be much higher quality than the toner-based color printers in stores.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
