Enhance the speed performance and power usage of your Dell Inspiron 530 with the Dell G33M02, LGA 775/Socket T, Intel Motherboard featuring an Intel chipset solution. The Dell Inspiron 530 - Foxconn - G33M02 motherboard features a total of 1115 components, which includes the heatsink assembly. The micro-ATX motherboard has a storage capacity of up to 4 GB. You can opt to upgrade by installing a custom BIOS, or risk the board with the Foxconn BIOS (not recommended). The Intel LGA 775 socket processor makes it compatible with Intel Celeron, Pentium Dual-Core, and Core 2 Dual Core processors. Unlike other G33 motherboards, this one does not support Core 2 Quad processors. The Dell Foxconn G33M02 Inspiron motherboard is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. The motherboard has four Serial ATA connectors for installation of mass storage devices (hard drives and optical disc drives). Using SATA technology, the connectors allow storage of up to 3 GB of data, or you could opt to use the four PCI expansion slots. The Foxconn G33M02 motherboard used in some Dell desktop computers is most commonly associated with the Inspiron 530 series. The motherboard system uses a G33 chip that is directly connected to the CPU and serves as the northbridge. The Intel ICH9 chip functions as the southbridge. The manufacturer utilized the microATX form factor in this motherboard, enabling it to deliver on affordability for PC solutions without short changing end users on the benefits of the ATX form factor. The careful design of the Inspiron microATX motherboards includes a reduced-output power supply that adds to its cost-effectiveness. Adding external drives (hard drive, DVD/CD drive, etc.) to the Dell Inspiron G33M is easy. The back panel carries four USB ports, audio input and output ports, and a VGA port. Simply plug your external drive into the correct port. The Dell Inspiron Foxconn G33M02 is a well-integrated motherboard that features Intel - 3 Series Chipset (G)MCH. The discrete two-chip North/Southbridge Intel solution from Dell has integrated circuits in the I/O interface functional area, and a conventional 4Mbit NOR flash device. The Foxconn G33M motherboards are equipped with four 240-pin DIMM slots for random access memory. Through DDR2 SDRAM technology and an operating speed of 667 or 800 MHz, each slot can accommodate 1GB of RAM, allowing for a total accommodation of up to 4GB. An Intel Graphics Accelerator 3100 is built into the Dell Inspiron 530 Motherboard system, providing graphics and video. The integrated graphics chip shares up to 256MB of your computer’s memory, and capably supports a maximum resolution of 2,048 by 1,536 pixels.
