Nice old unit, some good sounds, horrible to program & understand.
Nice old unit, well built, but beware trying to program it! The manual is worst I've ever seen, & I've seen many. It HAS to be this bad on purpose, probably to make a synth player give up, and buy expensive Roland sound cards rather than tweak their own patches. As such, the stock setup is loaded with filler sounds (how many helicopter and siren sounds do you need?) while omitting clarinets & clavinets entirely. (Available on a $75 sound card) Common necessary sounds are there, but underrepresented. It was very cool for its time, but clumsy. Now its just clumsy.
