With a case that is completely sealed and waterproof, using this fishfinder in even the harshest environments delivers positive results. The Lowrance X-4 Pro features a 4-inch Film SuperTwist LCD display. This display is sunlight-viewable and is backlit for easy viewing during both daytime and nighttime. The LCD display has a resolution of 240 vertical pixels by 160 horizontal pixels (38,400 total pixels) with a four-level grayscale. As you travel across the water, a continuous digital readout is kept regardless of the change in depth of the water. Automatic ranging sensors deliver instant screen updates for ideal target fishing capabilities. Automatic ASP tuning ensures the best picture quality on the screen possible with these fishfinders. There is an 83/200kHz dual-search Skimmer transom-mount transducer built into the Lowrance X-4 Pro fishfinders. These transducers have a water temperature sensor, giving you the ability to search for specific types of fish based on the temperature of the water they thrive in. With 120-degree range, you are able to enjoy an expanded fish detection coverage. The 83/200 kHz dual-search Skimmer transom-mount transducer operates at boat speeds up to 70 miles-per-hour, or 61 marine knots. The 83kHz does cover water depths of up to 1,000 feet. You have the ability to shoot through the boat hull or mount the fishfinding electronics unit to the transom. Both options give accurate results for targeting the fish you are seeking. The 83/200kHz sonar operates on a frequency that is able to penetrate bottoms of boats of varying thicknesses and made from different materials. Using accessories for the Lowrance X-4 Pro, creating a fixed mounting for the fishfinder is easy to accomplish. These accessories and installation kits allow for transom mounting, freeing up the need for moving the fishfinding device around while delivering more fishing fun. The Lowrance X-4 Pro is portable for added convenience. You’ll receive precision feedback with the advanced technology sonars installed in the Lowrance X-4 Pro. Alarms alert you when the device detects fish range. Target details give you a proximity as to where you should drop your line. Depth levels and GPS coordinates are recordable, giving you the ability to return to fishing hotspots when you plan to be out on the water again. Great Service and Product
First of all the unit was delivered two days early so I got to fish more. This unit replaced an identical one that went bad on me. I didn't want to redo a new trolling motor transponder and run the electric on a different unit. I was happy with my old one and was tickled to find this unit. Lorance x-4 pro fishfinder
