All of this information is provided on a bright-white LED screen and keypad backlight adjustments make it simple to enforce any necessary display changes due to the time of day or night. The 5-inch display has 480x480 pixel resolution, and the 16-level Gray Scale Supertwist Monochrome ensures the utmost visibility, even in direct sunlight. This screen displays with vivid detail and clarity all of the information, such as target viewing and separation, you could possibly need when surveying a particular area of water. With such a detailed display and so much advantageous information, the fish don’t stand a chance. It doesn’t matter where they’re hiding because the Lowrance Mark-5x Pro Fishfinder can search depths of up to 1,000 feet and it operates with a Dual-Frequency 83/200 kHz Skimmer Transom-Mount Transducer that can cast a 120-degree net of sonar coverage. As a result, you can cover a larger area in just one pass and receive intel on targets that are remaining in the area longer through more detailed readings. Of course, you can also always use the TrackBack feature to scroll through several pages of your fishfinder history. Mark 5X Lowrance
Went looking specifically for this make/model after using one on my friends boat. It proved to be so much better than the one I had been using. I miss the fish id icons, but for all the other features it was well worth the changed. Easy to install, easy to operate and provides seemly accurate readings. Happy with the product
The unit was purchased to replace another style that was damaged this winter when our roof collapsed on our boat. The installation was a little difficult install will new rewiring.
