Logitech C370-An easy to use webcam for videoconferencing online.
The C370 webcam plugs into any available USB port. On a desktop, it is usually recommended to plug it into a USB port in the back of the computer rather than the front. The unit easily sits atop a computer monitor. It does require downloading the driver from Logitech's website for the camera to work (I installed it in an older Windows 7 computer); the exact site took a little digging to find online but thanks to a search on Google I was able to find and install the driver. Once the driver from Logitech is installed the webcam works well. This does have a fixed lens. Using the webcam with a videoconferencing program the video on the receiving end is slightly pixelated (just because it may be set on the transmitting computer on HD mode doesn't mean that the video will look like broadcast TV on the receiving end). However, any video from a computer can also be influenced by restricted bandwidth on the internet connection of the speed of the computer video itself so this may not necessarily be a fair evaluation. The downloaded software for the C370 allows one to adjust color and play with a few video effects for the fun of it. The microphone seems to work well. The bottom line is that this webcam is relatively simple to install and does work well for its intended purpose of videoconferencing online.

The camera gives better than expected image quality, but the software is horrible. When accessing it, the entire computer freezes until the software fully loads and that seems to take forever. I've not timed it, but at least 5 minutes. Some of the upload functions don't work either.

great quality - slightly inconvenient design
This webcam was easy to set up (actually, there's not set up at all) and provides great quality picture and sound. I have a little problem with the balance of the thing. If I put the wire behind the monitor, the camera falls behind; if I put the wire in front, it hangs in front of the screen. I've settled on using a huge binder clip. But, the price and quality make up for the inconvenience.

Great little web cam!
Ok, this is our first web cam and I'm gettin' pretty old (in other words I'm not very techie) I plugged it in, my computer recognized the C270 and downloaded drivers, then I went to Logitech's web site and downloaded the softwear for the camera. Then since the main reason we bought the C270 is so we could "Skype" with our Daughter and her family, I downloaded Skype and set up our account and in less than 30 minutes start to finish we were "skyping" with our Daughter and grand kids. very , VERY happy with this camera, 720p is fine by us. :)

Great webcam
I might suggest getting some type of lighting assistance because the quality of the camera is great but the coloring is fairly altered by the quality of the lighting in the room. Overall, it’s extremely easy to use, affixes to multiple surfaces very easily and, generally, has much better quality than the stock computer cameras, especially for the cost.

Great but no modern features.
The C270 is a good standard webcam. Its an older model so it does not have the more modern lens aspect ratio and installed on a monitor on my desk, the only thing the other users will see is my giant looking face. A laptop cam or one that has different zoom or aspect ratios might be a good choice also. If your looking for a good standard webcam, this one will fit the bill.

Better late than never.
Came only a few days late. These days, that's good. Instructions a bit vague, but still fathomable. No mention than I had to manually focus the camera. But I figured that out. Once done, it's done. Surprisingly good image quality. Decent sound quality. Works well with Zoom and Skype.

The small set of instructions that came in the box defined the web cam as a Plug 'n play, but could not get image. A quick google search sent me to download the application for the camera. The web cam has a great sound and image. I am really impressed by the quality to such low price. Great item.

Logitech Does Good Again (Logitech c270 Webcam Review)
I recently purchased the C270 Logitech Webcam after having the product recommended to me by a friend. Having purchased items from the Logitech brand before, I had high hopes for this device. The Logitech c270 webcam is a small, light device with a decently long USB wire as advertised. I was surprised by how compact and transportable it was as well as how sleek its design was. The webcam also surprised me with the sturdiness of its materials. I thought it would have a more delicate feel to it, but it feels about the same as having a Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS in hand. Firm enough to move around and use but not so delicate as to be crushed or damaged by any little movement. On the side, there was some small confusion regarding the in-built clip it has, but one look at the PDF available on the Logitech website was all I needed to figure it out. The clip worked well with my HP Laptop and did not require any tape or other "hacks" to keep up. It is as easy to use as it claims with its clip feature and its software. Speaking of the software, the camera boasts a very clear image and its in-built microphone picks up my voice very well. The installation process was simple and straightforward, only requiring me to check the PDF provided by the Logitech website to ensure I was using the product properly and had everything installed correctly. I use Windows 10 on my laptop and it was perfectly compatible with it as well! I tested the webcam's picture/camera using the Desktop Discord App and the Windows Camera App and tested its in-built microphone with the same Desktop Discord App. They both worked consistently, smoothly, and without any trouble. I did not experience any hassles or technical errors when using and installing the device nor did I notice any damage on it. For anyone looking for an easily accessible, straightforward usage, clear pictured, and affordable webcam to start out with, I would recommend the Logitech c270 webcam. You definitely get your money's worth with it. Needless to say, my high hopes in the Logitech brand were not misplaced.

A good webcam
3 stars="it's OK" 4 stars="better than expected 3-1/2 strs would be a better description, but I'll lean to 4 stars because: It is what I expected good, not great in terms of features (picture angle width, mounting flexibility) but is better than "OK". picture quality is good, and it is easy to set up . It's a good zoom or MS Teams camera, a a good value for the price.
