Great amp for violin, too...
I bought this for my violin after I've tried out the AC-90 from a friend. The sound is awesome!!! For violin, I have to turn down the treble and mid a little bit, and turn up the base to get the right sound. I think the sound from the AC-90 is slightly better, probably because it has separate tweeters and 8" speakers compared to the dual 6.5" speakers on AC-60, but overall it still sounds very good. It is solidly built and heavier than I expected for a compact amp. You won't go wrong with this amp.

Best Acoustic Amp there is
I already had the AC 33, and wanted a little more power for some bigger gigs. The AC 60 is perfect for venues u to 150 or so people. It sounds just as good as the AC 33. It has said for itself several times over.

AWESOME ACCOUSTIC SOUND
This is my first Roland amp, and I love it. The sound is rich and deep. I've owned Pevey E208 and Fender Mustangs, but this gives you all the bells and whistles other than downloadable settings with the Mustang. The outputs are good and give you an option for stereo output. Haven't tried vocals yet, but my Takamine sounds great.

Good for solo gigs or low volume.
The ac60 is fine for solo or playing with a couple of acoustic guitars, but not near loud enough. I should have bought the ac90. I will probably sell the ac60. PS: the preamp section is similar to the boss ad5, but does not sound as good. I had 2 ad5's, well made but one died and the other barely works. Thought this would simplify my setup but now have to double pre amp to get the proper tone.
