A dying breed . . . .
The Epson Stylus Pro 4800 was a great printer when it was introduced ten or so years ago. I've now owned five of them, along with a host of other Epson printers of various sizes and bridging a couple of decades. If they're maintained properly, the 4800s can produce true professional-quality prints over an almost indefinite period of time, and they can stand up to heavy use. They can also be repaired by replacing parts--something becoming more and more rare in today's hardware of all kinds.
