great bass response

Excellent modifications; superb sound
The modification to the cable had clearly been done by somebody who understands HiFi. The overall sound of these 'phones is superb; wonderful detail, warmth and bass. Perfect for Jazz - e.g. Bill Evans, Ornette Coleman. An excellent low-cost introduction to the 'Grado sound'. I would recommend this type of product, and Grado, to any music enthusiast. The only minor caveat is that, over time, they are not that comfortable to wear.
