The revo-style torque-control slipper clutch protects this radio controlled truck's gear system and controls wheel-spin. Traxxas 2WD Stampede
Bought this truck for my Wife and she loves it... I think I drive it more than her. We were a little apprehensive about buying this truck but the speed and durability are just fantastic and much better than we expected This truck is really great in the dirt and Traxxas nailed it with this one!! It will also handle 2s Lipo batteries and the run time on the current NiMh 8.4 volt 3000 mah battery is super long... 15 to 20 minutes easy. I'm buying another one for sure!!! Durable and Fun for Kids and Adults
I have been through some cheaper trucks for my kids and decided to get into this entry level Traxxas truck because I was sick of the cheaper ones breaking. I've had this one for over a week and have beaten up on it pretty good and nothing has broke yet, plus looks easy and cheap enough to replace parts that do break. this is the fourth or fifth one I have had over the years, pretty decent little truck, from a cost point of view it is a deal, is it as fast as the brushless version? no, but if you are looking for a tough truck to hand to your teenage son so he can beat the life out of it, this is your truck, parts are dirt cheap and ready available.
