NOT THAT FAST
I have to be honest this is a great edition to the bedside cabinet looks cool. It's easy to use and saves your charging port from wear. The only down side is it seems to slow down the charging time of my supplied charger and doesn't always give me a full battery overnight. It works through my protective phone case so no need to remove. The packaging all looked like original so can only assume these are genuine. Nice Design
This is very easy to use and looks good no fiddling around with leads and sockets etc. The only thing I would say is to remember that this does not come with a charging lead you have to use the one supplied with the original phone and it will have to be a 'fast charger' lead otherwise the actual unit will not fast charge, just a normal charge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Compact Easy to use but Lights on it too bright
Nice compact device that is very easy to use. The main thing I do not like about it is how bright the blue light is on the front when it is charging and when the device is fully charged the light turns green and is just as bright. It lights up the whole bedroom so I have to block it with a pair of socks so I can sleep. I charge my phone overnight and use it for alarms and time etc so I cannot put the charger in another room . As fast as cabled charging, but with the convenience of wireless
This product needs to be used with the new Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging power adaptor, that hopefully came with the phone when new. I think because it needs a higher power input to enable its fast charging capabilities. There are generic wireless charging plates available on ebay, which worked just fine with my old S3, but I found the S7 edge to be picky which chargers it would take power from. This genuine Samsung product can charge the phone wirelessly as fast as it can be charged with a cable (remember to enable 'Fast Charging' in the phones menu). I wore out the charging socket on my previous Samsung phones, so I'm happy to do without the cables now. I have one on my desk at work and one next to my bed at home. Samsung probably thought they were being helpful putting a status LED on this charger which is off when the phone is absent, blue when charging and green when charged, forgetting of course that the phone already has an LED for this same purpose. My problem with this is that the light is so bright that it makes it uncomfortable for bedside use. Not to mention the sound of the cooling fan in an otherwise silent bedroom... Its a great charger though, so I plan on recessing it into the bedside table to flush mount it invisibly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fake, Don't Purchase
I had nothing but problems with this charger. It would not charger my Galaxy S8. I tried using my phone using both a fast charger/cable and a standard charger/cable. On fast charge when the phone is docked it blue and green LED constantly flashes and it says that charging has paused, after a minute the blue light comes on and it charges, however it does not charge fast charge. After a few seconds charging paused and both LEDs flash again. On a non fast charge setup, the it charges, then pauses, then charges, then pauses, then... (you get the idea) The only way that I could get my phone to work was when I plugged it into my PC. Why do I believe that this is a fake? The serial number on the box does not match the serial number on the charger. The serial number on the box does match the serial number on a online video showing off fake chargers. Wish I hadn't bother
First of all I don't believe that the charger I received to be a genuine Samsung charger. More like a cheap Chinese knock off. I do believe there is a reason to why the real ones are sold for £60 and these ones are sold for £25. However due to the price this hadn't of bothered me if this worked as it should. First of all the indicator light is so bright it lights up my whole bedroom at night acting as a child's night light. Secondly, when connected to a fast charger this activates a little inbuilt cooling fan which unfortunately hums so loudly at night making it imossible to sleep coupled with the "night light" and lastly the phone or device has to be place very precisely on the charger or it will not charge properly, it just kinda cycles on and off of charge. And forget about charging with a case on as this is almost near impossible. Would I buy again? No. Would i recommend to a friend? Certainly not. Samsung Fast charger - does not charge with case
I tried my friends genuine Samsung (standard) Charger and it works great with my phone in its very secure case. So I bought this thinking it will work the same but this does not charge my phone unless I remove it from my case which makes it pretty useless for my daily use.
