Headphones for the audiophile
They are AKG and I was expecting good things. I bought them as reference headphones to mix on and I was stunned by the improvement in audio compared to my last pair of higher end (Good brand) headphones. These headphones are not for the fashion "brand" crowd who like to show off their branding. They are really for people who love or need excellent quality sound at an affordable price. Outstanding sound quality. No noticeable dips or boosts in any part of the frequency spectrum. I trust these as much as my monitors. Well done AKG. They are sturdy and comfortable. Amazing soundstage for gaming and music
Amazing headset. Coming from a PC Zero Gaming ones, the 702k are a huge difference for fps gaming advantage and sound accuracy. Very lightweight and comfortable. Listening to music with this headset is mind blowing, classic music turns into an emotional addiction. The neutral sound and the little crystal sound details are like said in all these reviews. Hi end sound for beer money budget....
Headphones are a bit love or hate but what cannot be denied is the clarity and detail available from the best headphones. Originally near £400 but now available at beer money budget prices these offer that clarity and detail, as an added bonus they're comfortable and lightweight. Only really suitable for indoor use due to being open backed they're also not the best if your listening space is shared with other people due to sound leakage. If this doesn't matter and they fit within budget I doubt you'll get this level of sound quality at anywhere near the price they now sell for.
