Quality shock stop that looks very expensive
A real nice addition to my shotgun, it not only absorbs the shock but looks really smart too, It comes with three foam inserts to absorb the shock....YOU try it and decide how many you want in it...for YOUR comfort, forget the guidelines of placing all three in... Sadly I purchased the 'L' size for my Lanber Sporting....this proved to be a little too loose and I had to purchase the 'M' which fits much more snugly.. The quality is super and the rich dark brown leather looks and feels expensive complimented by a lighter almost orange stitching which sets it off, and to be honest even if I didn't need it anymore I would leave it on for it's looks alone.. Nice looking but not suitable.
This is a nice looking item but sadly does not measure up to the job it has to do, in my opinion. Beware of the sizes you order as even the large one would not fit a std Browning shotgun stock (too small). The leather is nice looking, well detailed but very soft. This makes it unsuitable to deal with the stresses of gun recoil. The recoil pads inside are very soft and compress too easily which again makes them unsuitable to stand up to gun recoil. This will also create a lot of gun movement when shooting. I have reverted to the well known branded type I have used previously.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
