It is really a great item to purchase, but I still need some further clarification on some items. Will not sell anything until I know for sure.
It is great. Now I finally so of know if my silver coins are silver or not, but when bar shows up on the right side, I am not sure what to think. Could it be that a coin could be silver on the outside and not on the inside? I checked with coins that are truly silver and they fall right in the middle. Also have some Kennedy halves that should not be silver, but fall right in the middle are sterling silver? Unless of course they are proofs coin, and I did not know that? Possible. I just bought another counterfeit checker instrument and they also show that it is silver, so now I am unsure. I have some further checking I have to do. Almost ready to chop a silver dollar in half to see what is on the inside. Boy those people that make counterfeit coins are really pretty good at that if that is the case. Indian 2 1/2 are definitely fake. No doubt about it. When I finally took it out of the case I can see where it was spray painted because a piece of hair was stuck to it too. Boy was I ever surprised. But I have to swallow it and go on and really check everything from now on. Thank you so much. I desperately needed this instrument.
