Disappointing Jamie
This book is spoiled by a mad excess of artwork all over most pages which obscures the text and in many places makes reading impossible. Handy, interesting & well worth picking up a copy
An older book of Jamie's that I've been wanting for ages after seeing TV repeats of the programme that accompanies this book. Full of handy & interesting facts about different vegetables, how to grow, harvest & store them in your garden/balcony/potting bucket, plus many good, simple, lovely recipes using them. I've already tried three recipes and had good success with them. And, as always with Jamie recipes, it's totally fine to tweak them yourself to suit your needs and your current store cupboard ingredients.
