  • Warhammer 40K humour?

I'd be surprised if a series like this got the go-ahead by Games Workshop these days, as the setting has taken its grimdark leanings very literally in a lot of the fiction in recent years. It's fantastic, fun, and easy to dip into. Personally I find myself reading Cain in Alexander Armstrong's voice, but there's a bit of Wodehouse in the writing as well.

  • Harry Flashman, in Spaaaaacccceeee!!!

A decent, if a little repetitive story with fun characters.
