True grit was demonstrated by one of the men whom the girl employed to help her in her quest but could also describe the spirit of the girl herself

You feel like Mattie Ross is someone you know, with her opinions, observations (sometimes remarkably true), and half-remembered quotes thrown in as the adventure goes along. Fantastic book
The book arrived in good condition, and was exactly as described. The story is a real classic, I loved both movies and was interested in seeing what the book was like.
