Changed my inner life
I suffered from depression and this book helped me accept and let go of my negative thinking, in combination with other reading on mindfulness. But Eckhart really resonated with me because of his common sense approach, all that is important is the present moment! we are one with it. This is the best book I’ve ever read. Thinking spiritual thoughts don’t make you spiritual. Kind, nice yes but not awake. True enlightenment comes when you dissolve thoughts and continually become present and stop living stories created by your ego. It’s easy to understand and needs to be kept close and reread taking lots of pauses. This is the most exciting book I’ve ever read.
