  • Every electronic and electrical engineer should keep a copy close at hand

My old large-format copy of Essential Formula finally died a natural death (I bought it in the early 1980s, so it had a good innings). The pocket-book format replacement is great. It takes up even less bench/shelf space, even if some of the formulae are now a little tough on my ageing eyes! Honestly, yes, it is dead easy to just look these up online. But having this on my workbench is probably even quicker, and certainly easier, when I'm scribbling out a design on the back of an (often literal) envelope. Every electronic and electrical engineer should keep a copy close at hand.
