Classic dramatisation that sets the standard
This classic dramatisation of the Lord of the Rings trilogy hooked me in and set the standard for me many years back. The acting is superb, and it was hard for the films to live up to the standard set here. The pacing of this audio drama allows characters to develop as well as the plot to twist and high action to make its onslaughts, avoiding the more turgid pace of parts of the books yet keeping true to the story.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
