Works well
I bought the item so that I could put my sky box in a cupboard below the TV. There are no real instruction that come with the eye so I have given some tips below.
I made a slight mistake and bought the IO link with a screw RF out put. A visit to Maplins to buy a £3.00 screw - RF out adapter and I was in business. So check you RF sockets before ordering. The only other thing to do was set the out RF socket so that it sent a 9 volt supply through the RF socket to power the eye, you cal tell it has power when the eye red indicator light comes on.
On my box there were 2 RF outputs if you look just below them it tells you which one to connect to after you set the 9volt output. You can find out how do this on you tube as there are various codes for different boxes. Mine was a Sky + hd. I positioned the eye just in an unobtrusive position below the screen, the cable to the eye is not that long so it worth measuring out the position of the TV to your box or you may have to add a small coax cable run
So I am pleased with product but just make sure that you can power the eye from the RF socket , check you box and get the set up codes , check position of TV to you box and you are good to go.
