Great value at agreat price
Had Norton for several years and always been pleased with it. Last year bought it direct from Norton at a good price but don't like how they sign you up for auto renew and then charge you a much higher price. I never auto renew anything it's a right rip off. You'd think they would reward customer loyalty for staying with them but not so. I always opt out and then buy online at a much better price. After I bought it, I read the small print...
After I bought it I went on my travels as usual. I was in Australia by the time my existing Norton product expired. When I installed Norton Security it would not activate because in the small print it said " European Union Edition, use only in the European Union. I have had to shut down while I buy another license locally, not easy when you're 4 hours from a town. *I am not happy, especially as I have a Norton account and have used their products for many years. I had a problem trying to install this product because I could not get all of the key numbers entered.. I contacted the company I purchased this from and they were extremely helpful and tried to help but had to advise in the end to contact Norton chat live. Renewal of Norton not by Nortan Renewal
If you are an existing Norton user and you purchase a renewal in the form of a new key or disc either online or in the high street as an alternative to Norton Renewal. You may encounter diffiiculties where the Norton software skips the point where you can instal the new key, but takes you directly to Norton remewal. You may need to uninstal all Norton and come in again to get past this point and install your new key. Much Improved AV
I was a little sceptical at first, however the AV I was running didn't work correctly with WIN 10 or Chrome (Chrome does affect a number of programmes because of how it runs - many advise not to use it). Which gave it a good rating so I tried it. Very light on system; runs well in background. No problems found. Reasonably Priced Internet Security
The product is fine in itself. Norton do not make it easy to install it as they would prefer you to take their online over priced renewal product. It also states on the product it can be used for Windows XP/Vista. This is no longer the case as for over a year they have not supported these and only provide maintenance cover only.
