  • Seagate Basic 2TB USB HDD

I am pleased with this item. I will however point out that the item makes a general spinning noise like a an old floppy drive only much quieter of course. I say this because my old Samsung M3 USB HDD 1TB is so quiet I have to look at the light to see if it's on. This new 2TB Seagate USB HDD has test passed every Seagate Seatools drive test and it spins down quickly when not in use. I prefer a drive like this that I can constantly keep writing to for backups where an SSD drive would wear out in all probability. Plug it in and away it goes in Win 10 and already formatted with Ex Fthat works fine though I may reformat to NTFS.
