Most relevant reviews

  • Culturally important and occasionally listenable

This is probably the best collection of his recordings. That said, too many of these songs are mawkish and precious. But he was a culturally important figure in the development of the singer-songwriter and, almost in spite of himself, a certain gay sensibility.

  • Music

I personally preferred his music from a he 60s, like Stanyan St and Listen to the Warm.
