Wellco usmc boots
I have purchased 2 pair now in the same size. I have worn many combat boots and these have been my favorite. Great materials especially the shark skin toe and heal (wich are basically scratch proof and stain proof) . Comfortable and built to last. The goretex liner is a huge selling point as it makes it easier to slip your feat in and out. Liner also cuts down on any spots that may rub on your feat otherwise and definitely extends the life of the boots by adding another layer that has be worn through before the boots are considered worn out. Buyer beware!!!
After I purchased these I discovered Wellco was sued by the U.S. govt. for falsely labeling these as "Made in U.S.A." when they were made in China. These boots are all government rejects. Not only are they falsely labeled, but they have serious size issues and fitment flaws! I normally wear a 14 wide, I got these in a 15 and was amazed at how small they were. MAJOR problem: You cannot get your feet in them!!! The "cold weather" versions have an undersized, improperly installed liner that is integral to the boot and are so constricted in design that you cannot get your foot in them. The boot externally seems big enough, but internally is very narrow and shallow making them undersized. Most say order a size large, I highly recommend just skipping the Wellcos and spend the extra on Danners and be happy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
