The DVD player is compact and can fit neatly next to or near any TV without taking up much room. The remote control is a bit fiddly with very small buttons. The picture quality is average to good with an HDMI connection. Has many other functions as well as playing CD's and USB sticks. Excellent Value DVD Player
An excellent value DVD Player with good image quality. Very compact, extremely easy to set up and use, even for a non technically-minded person like me who normally struggles with such things, and no over-complicated and pointless features that never get used. My only criticism is that no HDMI cable or SCART connection was included. Excellent quality multi region DVD player
This DVD player arrived very promptly but I did unwrap it or set it up until last night. Now I have, I can tell you that it is very easy to set up. I bought it because I have a few NTSC DVDs & so wanted to be able to watch them on my TV as opposed to on my laptop. Replacement for old player
Bought to replace my old origina player. Picture quality is good, works in conjunction with my blu-ray player (which won't play region 1 dvds). A good little player neat and a brilliant picture good product
Very good sharp picture I use it on TV in bedroom only a cheap TV from Argos Unfortunately if I go via HDMI only gives a picture & no sound (There's only 1 HDMI socket on this cheap TV) If I connect it up via HDMI on my main Panasonic it works beautifully no problems. So I connect it to TV in bedroom via scart it works beautifully even my Region 1 dvds from USA are very sharp and colours are very good reproduction The reason I give it 4 stars is because unable to use HDMI port on the TV in bedroom but that is mainly the fault with the TV in the bedroom and not with the player itself!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best I have used
From Peter, the dvd player is very good, so quiet, and the playback fills the full TV screen corner to corner. No black border. In particular we have a copy of the original film 'Far from the madding crowd' with Julie Christie, Terenca Stamp (villan, Sergeant Troy) and Michel Bates .(lost, Gabriel Oak) It now plays in brilliant colour, before it was very dull.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simple and good
I wanted a simple DVD player to work with a new Panasonic TV. It didn't have to play Blu-Ray discs. This one is absolutely fine for me, recognised immediately by the TV, works with the TV remote for simple functions and cost peanuts. HDMI and Scart connections.
