Scans documents with ease
I am very happy with this product. It was a breeze setting up. Was able to scan my documents for my tax preparer in a snap. The scanning software makes it easy to scan and save document files in print quality resolution. Good value for the price
It's much better than using the corded version. Thus far I haven't had to reinstall the software multiple times or restart my computer in order for the scanner and the computer to connect/talk with one another (as I had to with the corded version). It's quick and colors are accurate. My only two complaints are 1) to scan wirelessly to a computer one has to use the computer app. Pressing the scan button on the scanner itself will not work work and 2) it takes a lot of manipulation and trial and error to get the papers to scan straight (i.e. not slanted).Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good scanner -- but no "free" accounting software
Good portable scanner, but don't expect to get the "free" accounting software (Epson has changed their website, and apparently now scanners ship with the key, not a coupon). The software is very flexible, and works well -- and if you need OCR, simply look into an open source "free" solution that'll work fine with this.
