Solid and powerful
Makes short work of more solid veggies like carrots and potatoes. It's powerful and solid. Leafy greens just get disintegrated without much juice, but that is just the nature of the centrifugal process. I use a hand crank auger juicer for those. Although the plastic cup that catches your juice fits well and functions perfectly, I won't use it because it is plastic. Don't want any phytoestrogens in my juice. I would gladly pay extra for a glass cup. I use a quart sized mason jar instead. best juicer on the market
The Breville has a BIG feed chute so you don't need to cut things up much. It grinds the fruit and vegetables quickly, and the very high speed motor gets every bit of juice out of the pulp. It's also one of the easiest juicers to clean, assemble, and disassemble, and I've owned several. Five stars. My mother in law is still using hers on a daily basis, and it has 20 years of use. About the only thing you have to replace is the screen assembly every couple years, for about $35. That's assuming daily use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Juicer-Breville's Best!
This an excellent juicer as it extracts even more pulp than our last Breville and is even easier to clean. It disassembles quickly and cleans easily. The motor is more powerful than on our last, and does it's job more quickly and efficiently than ever. TIP: A trick that we have use to prevent messy pulp cleanup from the canister is to just line it beforehand with a small plastic bag from the grocery store. When you're done juicing, just pick up the plastic bag and throw it into the trash. We have always had great luck with our Breville Juicer's and we are now on #3.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fast and heavy duty performance
I owned an older juicer that just didn't perform to my expectations. The Breville Juicer works like a industrial piece of equipment. I never realized how much juice you could get out of a carrot. It grinds up the fruit and veggies real fast and the juice pours out just like a water faucet. The pulp is thrown into another container that makes for easy clean up. I place a plastic bag into that container and when I'm done the pulp lifts out easily making less clean up. The juice you get out of it is indiscribably delicious. I LOVE IT! Very best juicer I've ever used!
I LOVE IT! This is my first Breville juicer. I've previously used Jack Lalanne, Hamilton Beach and Black n Decker brands which were all horrible to use, clean and did a poor job of juicing anything. This machine is so easy to use, so simple and fast, it literally feeds itself. Easiest juicer I'be ever cleaned too, did everything in half the time it normally takes me. I'm so pleased with this juicer, it's everything I was looking for and the quality is far superior to anything else on the market. Super Nice!
I’ve been so excited to use my juicer and it did not disappoint! It works well, but it can be tough to clean, especially the crevice in the juice catcher and the filter (stains semi-easily). I also got a little confused with locking the pieces into place correctly (they can still fit together but not be perfectly in place), which caused a little bit of a mess. After that though I was sure to be careful putting all the pieces together so it never happens again (I’ve been successful this far)! I’ve never used another juicer for comparison but I love it! The Breville 800JEXL Is Great"
Great Juicer" I don't know what Is the best juicer around" It Depends on what you want Like Buying a car" But I had 3 - "Juiceman 2's" and; this one Is a Better design. It Juices Faster. And there Is the option of lowering the speed If you wish. It has Low and High speeds. This one I bought Is 10 years old" I don't really know how much or little It was used. However, It's easy for me to see I won't have to Buy a Juicer again for some time. Far as I'm concerned It works pretty much Like new. The only thing you need to watch out for Is; If you buy It like I did with-out the (Pulp catcher). You really must have the pulp catcher with this - particular juicer. Other wise It will make a Considerable mess. One more thing - I have read, the Blade basket will Need to be changed In 6 to 8 months. Not true. Everyone Juices different Items NOT to mention everyone's taste Is different. Some people like only a "Perfect Juice", then they ought to buy the Norwalk for 1500 to 2500 Dollars. Ya" then you get a better quality Juice. But If you can get this fairly new; Less then the Retail price of - between 3 & 400.00 Dollars I say buy It!" And don't believe You can no-longer buy new Blade Baskets there out there. I have a site already with a Minimal search. So good luck with this one. It's the only BREVILLE Juicer I think they did right" As the others I noticed have complaints with Defects. But not this 1000 Watt model Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL It's the only one from BREVILLE I recommend. You can easily Juice Watermelon Rinds, Whole Cantaloupes with Rinds, Anything Highly fibrous No problem with this. Whole Beets I love doing that, I go through a lot of beets Carrots Ext... Lots of Juice
This is my first juicer. I am happy with the amount of juice it produces. It is easy to clean. The carrots, celery and apples that I juice, make a very energetic addition to my diet.
