Accept no substitutes. This is the real McCoy
I tried one of the cheap imitations and was VERY unhappy. Do yourself a favor and get the real thing. It really is worth the money. I'm astonished that it shaves every bit as close as a blade. They came in a Norelco box, but can't believe they are an Norelco product. Not sure what to do with them???

Make your shaver.... like new, again
I remember that my razor shaved like gang busters when I first got it. I did not realize that over a two year period, the blades get duller, even though I could still get a close shave over a longer period of time of shaving. Got the new blades and the shaver was back to giving me a fast close shave.........as before. Works great lasts less than a year.
The Norelco replacement heads and blades for the 9000 are amazingly sharp. The shave is great for about 3 months. Then the sharpness degrades until a year when the shave is like using a dull knife. For a $200 shaver and $50 blade replacement, you'd think the added expense of $50 a year would not be necessary. I tried a Chinese replacement for $5 but it doesn't quite fit and doesn't work well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as good as my used set.
It takes these "New" blades forever to cut. It seems like they are dull or something. They make a lot of wired noise and are not as quiet as my prior set that I replaced. I am wondering is the reason these are less expensive that the list price, that maybe they are 2nd or 3rd grade quality?? Based on the noise and length of time it takes to cut - I am thing they are used ???? or a lower grade quality ??? Not happy at all - and I bought 3 sets due to the good price. Series 9000 replacement heads
Hardest part in finding the correct head is finding a clear statement of which head fits which model. What I found was many different prices, title variations and overall not much confidence if your getting the right stuff. If it says SH90 it's the correct replacement parts for a series 9000 shaver. Pricewise make sure you confirm the qty being purchased as they are sold as a single set, or a 2 pack and a higher price may be that of a two pack which in most cases is the better value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
