Fixed the aggravating new self venting spouts
My only gripe is it did not come with a gas vent device, just the vent cap, which doesn't fit but one of my dozen plastic gas containers. One thing I had to do was heat the threads on the inside of the large ring so it would 'seat' well. I just used a lighter (away from gas cans) to keep from dragging out my heat gun. I wanted to get away from hashing to use two hands. I had spilled so much fuel with the kind that is self-venting. Overall, happy with my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better option than replacing gas containers
You cannot purchase traditional gas cans, and the new ones are difficult to use and spill gasoline when used. These parts will resurrect your old Rubbermaid container.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

2nd chance
I had a couple of old gas cans that I had to use a funnel to pour gas into my lawn mowers. It was difficult to pour and hold the funnel at the same time. Missing proper spout cap
The spout fit the can well . However the spout tip cover does not fit I sharpened a stick to seal the spout. Wood be much better if a proper spout cap came with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
