Great mid-priced photo scanner - EASY to set up and use
I am absolutely LOVING using this to scan hundreds and hundreds of photos. There is a lot of upfront work to get all the pics organized (somewhat) but that is to be expected. The resolution (I use the "middle" setting) is excellent and I have had some really great results with the "auto correct" feature on the Epson. That feature has hugely improved some of my old photos that were very dark and hard to see the faces of the subjects. It is EASY to set up and EASY to use. Good quality and fast scaning. Faster than a flatbed. The auto restore of faded photo works very well. Sure wish there was a physcial manual to read. Would not recognized my 5g band of my multi band router. had to set computer to the normal band to be same as what scanner was seeing. Easy to set up. Does need to be cleaned more often than I expected to avoid streaks but I scanned 1,000 photos in just a few hours. Good quality.
